Moog The Rogue

    Description
The Rogue was not designed by Bob Moog but is considered a well thought out machine for it's size and the fact that it's a hard wired however instrument but with a feature of VCO number 2 being tunable between a half-step below to an octave above VCO number 1 allowed the Rogue to pla atonal sounds like the Prodigy.

The Rogue's VCOs are tunable via a common switch and VCO2 can be tuned by way of a knob. One switch selects the waveform for both VCOs with an additional 3 way switch that syncs VCO2 to VCO1 offering hard synced or contoured synced with the amount of sync to VCO1 is set by the by the envelope generator. The mixer section mixes the VCOs with the noise generator with separate sliders to adjust each separately. Moog's intention for the Rogue was a lead synthesizer for the rig of a multi keyboardist.
