The KPR-77 is an analog drum machine released in 1983. It features bass, snare, two toms, open and closed hi-hats, accent and (switchable) cymbal/clap. Each drum sound's level can be individual mixed with dedicated sliders. A built in LCD makes editing and adjustments less cumbersome. The KPR-77 organises its 48 patterns into three groups of 16, A, B, and C.Each patter can have 32 steps.

The unit also has DIN SYNC In/Out and be run with batteries or with AC Adapter. Data can be stored internally and backed up via tape interface.
