Jon Johnson Report post Posted May 3, 2017 The Logan String Melody II replaced the original Logan String Melody in 1977 with some differences in specifications. Manufactured in Italy, it was sold under both the Logan brand name and re-badged as a Hohner product for international sales. It has a wooden casing and weighs 23 kg. It has divide down synthesis with full polyphony and a variable gain amplifier for each key and a BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) chorus that gives it the distinctive string synthesizer sound. The controls for the instrument are the same as the original however there are 4 preset ensemble settings for various sound combinations of the 5 on board timbres.
