Jon Johnson Report post Posted July 19, 2017 In 1989 Korg relased the Z3 Guitar Synthesizer. It consisted of a 19 inch 1U rack coupled with their 24 pin Z3D guitar synthesizer driver for connecting to a guitar of the player's choosing. The synthesizer can also be used as a standalone multitimbral synthesizer. Its synth engine is an FM based unit that is also on the Korg's DS8 and 707 synthesizers as well as the Yamaha DX11 and TX81Z synthesizers.
