Nine Days Wonder

For twenty years, Nine Days Wonder sat on a shelf somewhere in the United Kingdom, awaiting approval for a cassette release. After the demo tape was sent to Alan, Wayne and Ken (aka- Moore/Myers) had disbanded, after trying to incorporate vocals into their instrumental music for a third release (titled "20/20"). Wayne contacted Auricle Music in 2007 and asked about the tape. Alan got it out and listened to it again; he was astounded that all the tape needed was some digital tweaking. After designing a cover, and remastering the music, Auricle released NDW on CD-R, along with the previously released "Reaching Beyond The Sphere" (only available on cassette at that time). NDW differs from the RBTS album in that Ken had purchased a digital sampler for use in recording, and due to the fact that the classic synthesizers were not prominently featured, the album as a whole sounds quite different...somewhat more modernized some said. Still, Wayne and Ken had set out to make progressive music, similar to the music they loved from the 1970s, only they did it in the eighties. Still full of keyboards, Wayne's writing always showcased his great guitar playing skills. Several Kameleon songs were recorded (i.e.- Almega and Progressive Behavior), along with one of Ken's originals, "Time To Cross" (from his time with Runner and Kameleon). "20/20" was never completed, but some of the material can be heard on the "Ken Moore Groups" release on B/C.
