The Peavey DPM3 was Peavey's first foray into making synthesizers. Depending on who you ask, it was either overrated or underrated. For the time the sounds were decent, but unexciting. Editing patches was straightforward but a bit tedious due to the lack of knobs and faders, but this was the bane of just about all synths at the time. I was excited about the news of this being released and was one of the first dealers to stock them. Hartley Peavey had promised the end of obsolescence. Hardly. But if you can find a working unit in good shape, they are an excellent buy.
