Akai Professional X7000 Sampling Keyboard

   0 reviews  -  2460 views

The Akai X7000 is the company's first pro keyboard sampler module but with specs that are from their S700 sampler. The unit is a 12 bit sampler with 128k of ram. It has looping, autolooping, truncating, multisampling and re-sampling, and reverse playback.

With 8 seconds maximum sampling time, the unit allows up to 6 samples that could be stored on to Quick Disks with the built in 2.8 Quick Disk Drive. The 6 samples allows for 6 part multitimbral playback. The unit has a 61 key keyboard that is velocity sensitive and can also be split up to 6 parts.
