   0 reviews  -  1454 views

The Generalmusic S3 Series Music Processor is an instrument conceived and developed with the most up-to date technology to guarantee a high degree of reliability and durability. The name “Music Processor” describes the instrument’s ability to handle the complete, creative process, starting from sound synthesis right down to the registration of multitimbral songs and the complete control of the entire MIDI setup.

The S3 Music processor is a digital synthesizer workstation with 6 MB of sampled waveforms as the basis for the oscillators which are processed through two variable filters and a programmable envelope.

The S3 also has 2 MB of sample ram and can load sample data from Akai and WAV/AIFF data. The samples must be converted on a computer using a program called Sample translator before being loaded from floppy disk onboard the S3.

The S3 has extensive MIDI capability and controllers and can be a MIDI Master Keyboard. The S3 comes with 16 voices from the factory with a Turbo Option for upgrading to 32 voices.
