Description
Korg released the DW-6000 in 1985 Programmable Digital Waveform Synthesizer. It was a digital-analog hybrid and carried many standard features brought over from the Poly line but with a new method of synthesis using 8 digitally sampled short waveforms in it's 2 DCO oscillators and processed through analog envelope and filter.

It also featured a 6 stage envelope instead of a standard ADSR. Korg calls it an ABSSR for great control. The unit also featured a chorus effect and tape backup storage for it's 64 patches.
