Description
The Moog Taurus 1 Pedal Synthesizer was originally part of a larger system planned as The Constellation. That project never made it past the designing stages before breaking off into separate products. One of them being the Taurus 1. The Taurus 1 is a 2 voltage controlled oscillator bass synthesizer using a 13 foot pedal keyboard very much like that of an organ bass foot pedal. The synthesizer features a 2 oscillator synth which can be played over 5 octaves. The oscillators could have square or saw tooth waves and allowed to have 3 presets for the user to save in the section called variables. The pedal section also featured 2 foot slider pedals that could control the filter cutoff and also the voltage controlled amplifier section. Glide and decay could be individually set in the variable section.
